lyrics

Just About Nowhere

Eject me with the love you gave me
Sketched out with your shaking caring hands
And lay me soft in the fleece of enchantment

Me just a blurry silhouette of myself
Spellbound in search of blood sincere
While hoards of frightened steely riders
Stockbred-typecast are riding the pre-ape look

Child with rank fingers scrawl your psalms
On my face enrage me
It feels as the furnace inside me is prickly plotting

So I take the night barge from the swamp banks
Of my cherished river

And I see the signs hanging on high
To escape from the sins that have caused my fall
Madness I'm down on bended knees

Brewing in self torment I lay siege to my own roots
Sit and gain another face
Change my shoes and throw away conventions
A conventional gesture

My martyred-like hide strung high on my cross of soft hiding
Slowly I climb down and it's all festering around me
A quagmire of mixed emotion
I try and pull those important out
And fine them swimming free

And I see the signs hanging on high
To escape from the sins that have caused my fall
Madness I'm down on bended knees
