Splintered Petal Fall The petal of your youth A spirit flaming call The world is a fuse So the splintered petal falls Echoes far removed In flights of wonder spun The writings on the wall Opaque in wonder sun Carried in the wind The splintered petal calls But figures preaching yarns Very rarely talk Petal of your youth A spirit flaming call The world is a fuse So the splintered petal falls

Aiming for a Never Saw Up on your up on your feet balmy army And go into the valley of death As the world wonders at this frontal delusion Where honour lies amidst the glorious blunders Aiming for a never saw Go on drop night bombs For this is an evening with the creator force But sometimes creation needs annihilation And you were marked down for a breaking Aiming for a never saw Rejoice in chiming songs of gore That elbow over rolling hills Baton down the hatches So pariahs can't wander In dissonance Meanwhile on the farm The pressing gang are drinking planks While their clobbering feet Drag to the beat Of the ugly elite Head up head up keep babbling on With Mrs Half who was such a laugh As she shot herself in the foot While driving and cleaning and wiping the arses What a palaver said her father
3.
Painting Rooms by Numbers She's got the beating of the day But her mind just goes astray It's not easy I know They turned the loving down low You’re feeling to be tied down Is borrowed unfound It won't let you bare Put your head up let them stare Don't take the back seat once again Don't let them drive you off the bend You're marvellous and rare Don't fit in no-one cares Remember all that you were gifted Write it bold up high and be it Yes you painted your room Your colour you choose Just walk right on out It's only wet paint on your shoes Don't take the back seat once again Don't let them drive you off the bend
4.
Mother Nature's True Blank page on a mindless blur It's the rage to be Out of anger And you fellow proud whistling man Did you not ever kick a can Pressed around in competition A spying glance shows inhibition Filling the lull And father on his telephone Is dragged around by kid alone It's telling you so Bought into something Long ago That's filling us up So we couldn't say no And all all or nothing Just the measure of your truth Embarrassing maybe Doing nothing alone And fair undertakings Show the makings of your part And socialisation doing body In the dark Glad mother nature is true
5.
Compare & Be Free? As I turn the old rusty tap Hearing its screeching I'm reminded of the fleeting past and its quiescent like essence That hovers freely above But I can't save today or any day It's winding itself away Forever sanguine Sallying on down To somewhere larger than life itself The more I yearn to capture it Adorn it Wrap it Stop it The more I see the beating machine With its tick-tock feats Information elites Its summons of no repent Billboard banality Of shiny Impostor catch-phrases Compare and be free Then go depart capricious one You lay to dormant Not striving Clinging Needy Too grey in tinsel our town And poor in status

Private Jokes All of my instincts say it is rigid Moving addictions behold a witness Exhausting fixations Nagging persistence Believe everything it wants And everything you read You always on your mind Listening to it So go dissolve goodbye old soul Miss your so private jokes I can know Method or madness happy or sadness Contorted emotions convey the notions All of my instincts say I have business Go dissolve goodbye old soul Miss your so private jokes I can know oh

Stoop 04:04
Stoop There is a nice path that does lead From my hidden mountain retreat It's secretly not by the sea On a far away island Won't stoop to those woolly kind of after-thoughts Idealism go take a walk I made it here all alone Crowned king of the castle Mop the passage and polish the plaque I've never heard of it come meet the wife Wipe the hard-drive and bury the spoils And meet the natives at my door I've got an army of lawyers now Working on loopholes at the back Mixing it up and giving it out It's all above board Mop the passage and polish the plaque I've never heard of it come meet the wife Wipe the hard-drive and bury the spoils And meet the natives at my door The sun doth shine over this missed time That's moored to the banks with no sign We keep our fingers in everyone's pie On our far away islands

Oh Whatever 05:34
Oh Whatever Picking up the pieces of the past Before it gets too dark And we cant hear the larks So lets go higher What I say is worthy for a listen But not quite formulated Lost in translation I'll go higher Oh look what I've become Never thought it could be done Was it a game I played And oh whatever Look out to the sea They’re making whoopee It's alright to say Oh whatever Everywhere is full of half baked nations And governments print brochures Full of hocus-pocus Let's get higher Come along with me to the park We’ll feel a little lighter It all becomes brighter Let's get higher Oh look what I've become Never thought it could be done Was it a game I played And oh whatever Look out to the sea There making whoopee It's alright to say And oh whatever Oh look what I've become Never thought it could be done Was it a game I played And oh whatever

Please book your copy as it's a limited edition of 50.

This album will NOT!!! be released on Spotify due to their continual ripping off of musicians.

Special credit goes to Florian Grupp who actually started the ball rolling with this album - after hearing his piano on the track Splintered Petal Fall the seed for the album's concept was planted.
Also to João Clemente for mixing and producing the album and for his ability to just get on with things that are sometimes not perfect, I shouldn't forget his friendship too. All the incidental sounds you hear are also from him.
Also to Elo Masing for her patience and belief in the album and me, as well as her talent to spot bullshit and safe clichéd ideas. Without her musicianship - recording the violin and keyboard parts, all string arrangements and some wind/brass arrangements - this album would be just full of standard songs with an acoustic guitar backing (and probably half finished).
A massive thank you also goes out to Itta Nakamura for playing drums and percussion. He sometimes even played to a track without a click-track - I don't know how he did this. Normally drums go on first, but in my case it's not always that way.

Not forgetting the contemporary music posse of Ingólfur Vilhjálmsson (clarinet), Jack Adler-McKean (tuba), James Aylward (bassoon), and Marta Talvet (backing vocals), the Brazilian connection of Gabriel Barbalho (trumpet) and his wife, the very talented Claudia Rivera (piano), who understood how to mix Béla Bartók with my music.
Thanks also to Speedy for his double bass parts, Mick for playing bass, Nuno Santos Dias for the piano track (I hope I did it justice), and Tiago (keyboard), and everyone else who played on the album.
Thanks also to Peter and Aidan for the initial mixes of some tracks.
