Always Insisting

She wanted him to move the moon
He said I have done it’s over there

He said I want you to be a star
She said I am one then took a bath

She liked the things he did in the past
He got an anchor and tied it to the mast

We always want the things we can’t have
Always insisting on where they should be found

She found the chink and gauged all day
To open him up wasn’t that the way

He said he’s sad when all is obeyed
And took it for weakness and it drove him away

Friends said they needed a common goal
So they held hands and went for a stroll

We always want the things we can’t have
Always insisting on where they should be found
